Our history starts in the 1940s when founder Ernesto Sacerdote began trading and producing essential oils and raw materials for the flavour industry.

1947
SACMAR sets up headquarters in Pantano Street, in the heart of the city of Milan.
70’
The production site moves to the Solari area and increases its production area.
1992
New challenges call for a larger production facility: the Company moves to its current location in Via Keplero, Settimo Milanese.
2000
The obtaining of SO 9001 certification.
2002
Second generation takes over company leadership.
2010
SACMAR expands its current production site with additional production and laboratory space.
2020
Third generation takes corporate leadership.
2021
Acquisition of Selvania, a manufacturer of pastry creams and processing aids.
2024
SACMAR products are exported all over the world and the Company regularly attends all major international trade fairs.
