Project Description

The SNIF – Safer and More Sustainable Natural Ingredients for the Food Industry Research and Development project aims to contribute to the authentication of ingredients used in natural flavours and to the development of new food additives through the use of advanced analytical technologies and biocatalysed production processes.

The project seeks to ensure safe, high-quality and more sustainable products for consumers, developed in compliance with environmental protection and the responsible use of available resources, while strengthening industrial competitiveness in the food ingredients sector.

Funding Framework

The project is funded under the PR FESR 2021–2027 Regional Programme of Lombardy Region, Action 1.1.3 – Support for the implementation of complex research, development and innovation projects, Call: Collabora & Innova.
