FLAVOURS SACMAR

Food flavours and tailor-made development

SACMAR develops and produces food flavours to characterise the taste of beverages, baked goods, sweets, dairy products and other applications. Alongside our offer for the food industry, we provide flavour solutions for nutraceuticals and oral care.

From established profiles to customised formulations, we work on the sensory characteristics and technical requirements of the product. Matrix, dosage, solubility and process conditions guide the development of the flavour solution.

Our flavour solutions

Liquid and powder flavours

We develop flavours in different formats to meet formulation, dosage and processing requirements. The choice between liquid and powder is assessed according to the product composition and the production process.

Powder options include spray-dried flavours for dry mixes, sachets and tablets.

Water-soluble and oil-soluble flavours

We offer flavour solutions for aqueous, fatty and complex matrices. We study how the flavour integrates into the formulation to achieve the desired sensory profile in the final application.

Natural, 95:5 and WONF flavours

We develop natural flavours according to the aromatic result and the project requirements, including 95:5 and WONF (With Other Natural Flavourings) formulations for different labelling requirements. Our technical and regulatory team supports customers in choosing the solution and assessing the related labelling claims.

Concentrated flavours

High-concentration formulations for projects with specific dosage and composition requirements. Development options also include solvent-free solutions, to be assessed according to the application.

Flavour extracts

Extracts that characterise taste with recognisable raw materials, including vanilla extract from vanilla beans for doughs, creams and fillings, and coffee, chocolate and vanilla extracts for dairy products and desserts.

Taste modulation and masking

We develop solutions to balance the sensory profile and reduce unwanted perceptions, such as bitter notes from proteins or off-notes from omega-3, iron and vitamins in supplements.

Sweetness enhancers help maintain sweetness perception in reduced-sugar products and drinks.

Cooling agents

Cooling agents for a fresh effect with controlled intensity and duration, and taste modulators with refreshing, numbing or chew-aid effects for chewing gum, candies, mints and oral care products.

Flavour building blocks

Modular flavour components to build, complete or strengthen complex profiles. These solutions are designed for flavour houses and manufacturers who want to integrate specific components into their own formulation work.

Tailor-made development

Customised flavours, from brief to finished product

We work with your R&D team to define the flavour profile, starting from an idea, a benchmark or an existing formulation.

Development takes into account the ingredients present, the processing conditions and the expected sensory result. Application trials allow the flavour to be assessed in the finished product and any necessary adjustments to be identified.

We also carry out co-development projects and production on shared formulas, with confidentiality agreements to protect your information.
